Bright surprisingly spacious cottage is on the edge of a ravine. Even though you are in a lakefront subdivision, with the ravine, it really is quite private. Cottage is bright with lakeviews from GreatRoom and gorgeous stone fireplace. I can see sitting here on a rainy day with cozy fire, good book and glass of wine. AND there is a whole closet of games & puzzles for young & old.  And there is a large flat screen TV with DVD.

Well appointed kitchen has gorgeous skirted farmhouse sink in the island, making this the perfect gathering space while preparing meals. Master bedroom is light & airy with views of the lake. Bedroom 2 has queen bed and tube TV, Bedroom 3 has Double bed and 2 single bunks as well as a tube TV - making them perfect to put the kids to sleep after a busy day.

I love the oddly shaped lot with shady and sunny areas to play in. There's a large deck out back with nice dining space, Propane BBQ and firepit to enjoy smores!

There are approx 90 steps to the beach but you can stop part way down at the lower deck. Here you can enjoy the lakeviews/sounds and watch those playing on the beach. You are welcome to use the kayaks and paddleboard as long as you wear a lifejacket. NOTE: This year 2019 we still had a beach in the summer but there isn't any this fall.

This really is a family cottage and I can see you creating many memories here!

NOTE: There are approx 80 steps to the lower sunset deck where you can sit and enjoy watching the waves while reading a book - due to shoreline erosion there will not be any access to the beach here however, there is a public access around the corner.

lots of amenities close by yet still felt private

Jennifer was a great host and provided us with lots of recommendations. The place had lots of amenities close by yet still felt private. Our family had a great time.

So Cute, Well Stocked and great location

Great location close to Bayfield. About a 3 min drive. Very close to the grocery store and lcbo. The house itself is so cute and is well stocked in the kitchen. Even has a blender. The rooms are a decent size. The deck is great and the fire pit is lovely to use. The backyard is shady with lots of trees. Few things to note: Third bedroom door will not close as the bunk bed blocks it from closing. The beds are also super hard!! Also the backyard has a very steep drop off so if your bringing young children be wary of that. Also the beach is washed out at the moment.

My kids loved this spot!

My kids loved this spot! Lots of steps to the water but the view on the way down is incredible. There is a trailer park just down the street that my parents checked into and we had lots of fun in their pool and playground... a surprise bonus. Water levels were high this year so walking along the beach was challenging but there is a really nice stretch of beach just a bit to the south (We accesses it via a little trail at the end of Elliott st). The cottage has everything we needed with lots of space and a great fire pit that we used almost every night. The kids loved tumbling around on the back lawn while we sat on the deck and relaxed. The whole family gave it a big 2 thumbs up. For families with really small children, just note that there is quite a steep ravine along one side of the property, bit it is bordered by brush and trees. Makes it feel very private. Thanks also to Jennifer for the great communication!

Lovely Gem

Parsons Paradise was a lovely gem just on the outskirts of Bayfield. The beach and lower deck provide amazing sunset views over Lake Huron. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood but a surprising amount of privacy on the property! I would definitely visit again.

Thanks for sharing your cottage with us.

I rented this cottage for my Moms 80th birthday...a three night get away. The steps down to the beach are great and were safe for my Mom and our Dogs. I really loved the TV room, very roomy, cozy and the tv and fireplace are a bonus. All bedrooms are good size.. Kitchen is a good size and the island with sink is Awesome place to eat and prepare food. Tons of games, puzzles, anything you need. Shed is full of more stuff as well. I wish the weather had been better because sitting outside at the table or deck is great and you see the lake and beautiful sunsets, or you can go down to lower deck as well. We met a few neighbors walking dogs and they were very nice. Not to far away is another beach access as well. The owners should upgrade the bathroom with pull down shower head for easy rinsing, that would be great especially for the elderly. The Master Bedroom is very nice and has lake views and beautifully decorated. Same with second bedroom and the third bedroom is great for kids. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us. Terry, Margaret, Barbara and dogs Beau and Weezie :)
